Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of InspoPlan, including the mobile application and our public website (for example marketing and legal pages). InspoPlan is operated by Catalin Vasilache, based in Romania. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and is part of your agreement with us.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using InspoPlan (including the mobile app or our public website), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the service. Your continued use of the service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Where mandatory consumer protection laws apply in your jurisdiction, those laws prevail over any conflicting provision in these Terms.
2. Description of Service
InspoPlan is a collaborative productivity application that enables individuals and groups to create shared Spaces. Each Space may contain a calendar with events, shopping lists, to-do lists, check lists, meal plans, travel plans, and notes. Users may invite others to collaborate within a Space, with changes syncing in real time.
The service is offered on a free tier with certain usage limits and, where applicable, advertising, and on an optional paid subscription branded InspoPlan Premium that unlocks additional capabilities and removes in-app advertising, as described in the app and on the paywall before purchase. Exact limits for the free tier and the specific Premium benefits in effect at any time are those shown in the app; they may evolve as we improve the product.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use InspoPlan. If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Romania, the minimum age is 16, consistent with the applicable digital consent age under the GDPR and UK GDPR. If you are between 13 and 16 and located in those regions, you must have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian before using the service.
If you are under 18 in any jurisdiction, you represent that you have obtained your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the service. By using the service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable minimum age. If we become aware that a user does not meet the eligibility requirements, we will terminate that account and delete associated data.
4. User Accounts and Registration
You must create an account to use InspoPlan. You may register using email and password, or through third-party authentication providers (Google, Apple). You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately at catalin.vasilache.97@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
5. Spaces and Collaboration
Spaces are shared workspaces where you and invited members can create, view, and edit content in real time.
Space Admin: The user who creates a Space is designated as the Space Admin. The Space Admin may invite and remove other members, and may transfer the Admin role to another member. If the Space Admin deletes their account, the Space and all its content will be permanently deleted unless the Admin role has first been transferred to another member.
Member access: When you invite a user to a Space, they gain access to all content within that Space. You are solely responsible for whom you invite. All Space members may view, create, and edit content within the Space.
Premium and invitations: The ability to invite members to Spaces where you are the Space Admin may require an active InspoPlan Premium subscription, as indicated in the app. Other collaboration rules in this section apply regardless of tier.
Removal from a Space: When a Space Admin removes a member, that member immediately loses access to all content within that Space, including content they created. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from removal from a Space.
Disputes: Disputes between Space members are solely between those users. We have no obligation to mediate or resolve such disputes.
Abuse reporting: Users who experience harmful conduct by another Space member may contact us at catalin.vasilache.97@gmail.com to report the issue.
6. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of all content you create within the service (lists, notes, events, plans, recipes, and similar items).
By using the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, and display your content solely as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the service. This license does not permit us to share or sublicense your content to third parties except to our service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit your content and that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful, without prior notice. If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed by content on the platform, please contact us at catalin.vasilache.97@gmail.com with a description of the alleged infringement and the content in question.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use InspoPlan for any of the following:
- Any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
- Harassing, abusing, or harming others
- Transmitting malware, spam, or any content that could damage or impair the service
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or our systems
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the app
- Circumventing any usage limits or access controls
- Any activity that violates these Terms or applicable law
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for any violation of this section.
8. Third-Party Services
InspoPlan uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, data storage, and server-side processing used to keep subscription status in sync with our infrastructure
- Google Sign-In and Google Play (Google LLC) — authentication and, on Android, subscription billing
- Apple Sign-In and the Apple App Store (Apple Inc.) — authentication and, on iOS, subscription billing
- Google AdMob (Google LLC) — advertising for eligible free-tier users
- RevenueCat Inc. — subscription infrastructure, entitlements, and in-app subscription management surfaces on supported platforms
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Where we act as a controller and appoint processors under the GDPR or UK GDPR, we rely on appropriate contractual terms offered by those providers (including data processing addenda or equivalent terms) where available and as required by applicable law. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
9. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions (InspoPlan Premium)
Product and platforms: InspoPlan Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features and removes in-app advertising, as shown in the app before you subscribe. Subscriptions are offered only through the native iOS and Android apps via in-app purchase. InspoPlan does not process card payments directly, and store checkout for Premium is not available on the web version of the service.
Merchant of record and payment terms: For purchases initiated on iOS, Apple is the merchant of record for App Store transactions. For purchases initiated on Android, Google Play handles billing. By subscribing, you agree to the then-current platform terms and payment rules (including those relating to price, tax display, introductory offers where available, and billing disclosures shown at purchase).
Our role: We grant access to Premium functionality inside InspoPlan when your account reflects an active entitlement in our systems in accordance with the applicable store rules. We do not set the final transaction price on your device; the price, currency, and tax presentation at checkout are determined by the store and our subscription configuration partner (RevenueCat) as presented to you at the time of purchase.
Account binding: Your subscription is associated with your InspoPlan account (Firebase Authentication user identifier). You should remain signed in with the same account on your devices to receive consistent access to Premium features.
Spaces and tiers: Certain per-Space limits for lists, calendar usage, and related capabilities depend on your subscription status and the tier of each Space, as implemented in the app. Where you are the Space Admin, Space tier may be updated when your Premium status changes, which can affect all members of those Spaces.
Auto-renewal and cancellation: Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period if you do not wish to renew, to the extent required by the applicable platform. On iOS, payment is charged to your Apple ID; you can manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or the equivalent path on your device). On Android, manage or cancel in the Google Play subscription center for this app. The app may also surface links or tools (for example RevenueCat Customer Center or store subscription management URLs) to help you manage your subscription.
Taxes and refunds: Applicable taxes may be charged as determined by the platform. Refund requests follow Apple's or Google's policies and applicable law; we do not control individual refund decisions by the stores.
Restore and sync: If you use restore purchases or after a new install, Premium access in the app may take a short time to update while our systems reconcile with the store and RevenueCat.
Introductory offers, trials, and renewal pricing: Introductory prices, free trials, or promotional periods, if offered, are those shown in the purchase flow at the time you subscribe. The recurring renewal price for a subsequent period may differ from an introductory rate where permitted by the platform and applicable law; Apple, Google, or we (through the paywall) will present applicable pricing information as required before you are charged.
When Premium ends: If your subscription expires, is cancelled, or is revoked by the platform (for example after a refund or billing failure), your account will return to non-Premium status, free-tier limits and advertising (where applicable) will apply again, and Space tier rules for Spaces you administer will update in line with the implementation described in the app.
Billing disputes: Questions about charges on your Apple ID or Google Play account should first be directed to Apple or Google through their respective support channels. We will reasonably cooperate with good-faith inquiries sent to our contact email when they relate to access to InspoPlan features.
EU/UK Right of Withdrawal: If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. However, by confirming your purchase and requesting immediate access to digital content, you consent to the performance beginning immediately and acknowledge that this waives your right of withdrawal for that content, as permitted under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
We reserve the right to modify Premium features, subscription offerings, or free-tier limits over time, with reasonable advance notice where required by applicable law. Changes will not deprive you of features you already paid for during an active paid period except as permitted by law and platform rules.
10. Advertising
Eligible free-tier users may see advertisements served through Google AdMob. Advertisements displayed within InspoPlan are non-personalized. AdMob may present a consent banner to users in applicable regions, as required by Google's EU User Consent Policy. We do not control the specific content of third-party advertisements.
Premium subscribers will not be shown advertisements as part of their subscription.
11. Intellectual Property
InspoPlan, including its design, features, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by Catalin Vasilache and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the app or its content without our express written permission. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CONTENT. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
NOTHING IN THIS SECTION EXCLUDES WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE MANDATORY LAW, INCLUDING CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS IN YOUR JURISDICTION.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL NET AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR INSPOPLAN PREMIUM FOR YOUR ACCOUNT IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (AS RECORDED BY THE APPLICABLE APP STORE OR GOOGLE PLAY AND ATTRIBUTABLE TO THIS APP, EXCLUDING TAXES AND PLATFORM FEES WE DO NOT RECEIVE), OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100). IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID FOR PREMIUM IN THAT PERIOD, ONLY SUBPARAGRAPH (B) APPLIES FOR PURPOSES OF THIS CAP.
NOTWITHSTANDING THE ABOVE, NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OR EXCLUDES OUR LIABILITY FOR: (A) DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE; (B) FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION; (C) ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE MANDATORY LAW, INCLUDING APPLICABLE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS IN THE EUROPEAN UNION, UNITED KINGDOM, OR ANY OTHER JURISDICTION WHERE YOU ARE LOCATED.
In jurisdictions that do not permit certain exclusions or limitations, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Catalin Vasilache and its affiliates, officers, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you submit that infringes applicable law or third-party rights
- Any dispute between you and another user arising from your conduct
This indemnification obligation does not apply to users located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom where such obligations are unenforceable against consumers under applicable consumer protection law. We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable notice before termination except in cases of serious violation.
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon account deletion:
- Your profile and personal account data will be deleted immediately
- Content you created in Spaces where you are the sole member will be deleted
- Content you created in shared Spaces will be anonymized (attributed to "Deleted User") rather than deleted, to preserve the integrity of shared collaborative data for other members
Subscriptions and account deletion: Deleting your InspoPlan account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. You remain responsible for managing renewal with the platform where you purchased. If you intend to stop billing, cancel the subscription in your Apple or Google account (or equivalent subscription management flow) before or after deleting your InspoPlan account, in line with the store's rules.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law — shall remain in effect after termination.
16. Data, Privacy and Your Rights
Your use of InspoPlan is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR (as applicable):
- Right of access — to request a copy of your personal data
- Right to rectification — to correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — to request deletion of your personal data (subject to the anonymization policy for shared Spaces described in Section 15)
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in Romania, the ANSPDCP; in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk).
17. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. Please contact us at catalin.vasilache.97@gmail.com with a description of your concern. We will endeavor to resolve disputes within 30 days of receiving notice.
Users in the EU, EEA, or United Kingdom: If your dispute is not resolved through negotiation, you may submit it to your local courts or pursue alternative dispute resolution through your national consumer protection authority. Romanian law governs these Terms, but mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply where they offer greater protection. The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Users in the United States: Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by contacting us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. This arbitration clause does not apply to claims that may be brought in small claims court.
Class Actions: For users in the United States, you agree to resolve any dispute on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action or representative proceeding, to the extent permitted by applicable law. This waiver does not apply to users in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions where such waivers are unenforceable under consumer protection law.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. This choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections afforded by the law of your country of habitual residence.
If you access the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you acknowledge that you have also agreed to their applicable terms of service.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app, on our website, or via the email address associated with your account, with at least 14 days' advance notice for material changes.
Your continued use of the service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the service and may delete your account.
20. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
These Terms are written in English. Where we provide a translation for convenience, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by mandatory local law.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.
