Getting started

What is Loopisy?

Loopisy is a collaborative life-planning app built around shared Spaces. Each Space can include a dashboard, calendar with events (reminders, recurrence, categories), rich-text notes, to-do lists, checklists, shopping lists, meal plans and recipes (with rule-based shopping lists generated from meal plans — not AI), and travel lists (itineraries, reservations, budgets, and timelines). Content syncs in real time for everyone in that Space.

How do I create an account?

Download Loopisy from the App Store (Google Play release planned). Open the app and complete onboarding. You can register with email and password, sign in with Google, or use Sign in with Apple on iOS. During onboarding you will see links to our Terms and Privacy Policy.

What sign-in methods does Loopisy support?

Email and password — create an account, log in, and reset your password by email. Google Sign-In — log in with your Google account. Sign in with Apple — log in on iOS with your Apple ID. An account is required to use the app.

What is a Space?

A Space is a private shared workspace for a group (family, friends, roommates, etc.) or for personal use. You can belong to multiple spaces and switch between them from Space Manager (shown after sign-in). Only Space members can see or edit content — there are no public share links.

Can children use Loopisy?

Loopisy is a general-audience productivity app — not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 to create your own account (16 in the EU, EEA, UK, and Romania, unless local law allows verified parental consent between 13 and 16). Parents may invite family members who meet the minimum age into a shared Space. Free users may see ads; Premium does not show banner ads. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Account & sign-in

I forgot my password (email sign-in).

On the Log In screen, tap Forgot password?, enter your email, and submit. Check your inbox for a reset link.

Alternatively: open the app → Space Manager or Dashboard → profile/account icon → AccountChange Password Send Email. You will be logged out; follow the link in the email to set a new password.

How do I change my name, email, or avatar?

AccountEdit Profile → update fields → Save Changes. Avatars are preset icons you choose in the app — Loopisy does not upload or store profile photos from your camera roll.

Does Loopisy access my camera, contacts, or location?

No. Loopisy does not request camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, or GPS / location permissions. The app uses internet access for cloud sync, may ask for push notifications (invitations and collaborative alerts), and on Android may use vibration for notification feedback. Calendar events may include optional text location notes you type manually. Loopisy does not currently show Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. How do I send feedback about the app?

Open Account settings and use the optional feedback form. You can submit free-text comments and select improvement-area tags. This sends your user ID, display name, and message to us so we can review it.

How do I change the app language?

AccountPreferences Language → choose English, Romanian, or French → Apply.

How do I enable dark mode?

AccountPreferences Theme → Light, Dark, or System.

How do I log out?

Account → scroll down → Log Out.

How do I delete my account?

AccountEdit Profile Delete Account. Confirm twice.

This deletes your Firestore profile and Firebase login. It does not cancel App Store or Google Play billing — cancel your subscription separately (see Subscriptions below). The app warns you before deletion.

Shared Spaces: Content you added to group Spaces may remain after account deletion, including edit metadata (such as your name or user ID on items you changed). To remove all data in a Space, the Space Admin must delete the entire Space. For erasure requests, email support@loopisy.com.

What happens to my data when I delete my account?

Removed: your users/{uid} profile and Firebase Authentication account.

May remain: calendar events, lists, notes, and similar items in group Spaces; pending invitations; feedback you submitted; and purchase records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat. Some fields may still reference your former user ID or display name.

Full Space removal: when a Space Admin deletes a Space, all content in that Space is removed. See our Privacy Policy (Section 7) for details.

Subscriptions & Premium

What are the free plan limits?

On the free plan you get:

  • 1 owned Space
  • 1 non-admin invite per Space (one additional member)
  • 1 list per feature type per Space (shopping, to-do, travel, meal, checklists, etc.)
  • Lower calendar event limits than Premium
  • Banner ads on most screens (not on sign-in, paywall, or onboarding)
What is Loopisy Premium?

A subscription that unlocks:

  • Unlimited owned Spaces (free: 1)
  • Unlimited lists per type in each Space (free: 1 per list type)
  • Unlimited member invites (free: 1 non-admin invite per Space)
  • Higher calendar limits and premium Space tier
  • No banner ads

Entitlement: inspo_plan_pro. Plans: monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription via the App Store or Google Play.

How do I subscribe?

Open Space Manager → Premium promo card → View Premium, or Account → crown row (Loopisy Premium) → paywall → choose monthly or yearly plan.

Prices and billing period (monthly or yearly) are shown in the App Store or Google Play purchase sheet before you confirm.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by us directly. We cannot issue refunds. Request a refund through the store where you subscribed:

  • iOS: Apple refund request
  • Android: Google Play → Account → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history, or Google Play support
How do I restore a previous purchase?

Sign in with the same Loopisy account you used when subscribing. Open the Premium / Paywall screen → Restore purchases. Premium access in the app may take a short moment to update after a successful restore.

Premium is not showing after I paid.
  1. Confirm you are signed into the same Loopisy account (Firebase login) you used when purchasing.
  2. Try Restore purchases on the Paywall screen.
  3. Force-quit and reopen the app; wait up to a minute for sync.
  4. If still missing, email support with your Loopisy account email and approximate purchase date.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google Play. Loopisy cannot cancel for you.

  • iOS: Settings [Your Name]Subscriptions Loopisy → Cancel or change plan.
  • Android: Google Play → SubscriptionsLoopisy.
  • In the app (Premium users): Account → crown row → Subscription help (RevenueCat Customer Center or store subscription management).

Cancellation stops future charges; you keep Premium until the end of the current billing period.

I deleted my Loopisy account but I'm still being charged.

Deleting the app account does not cancel Apple subscriptions. Cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. For refund requests, follow Apple's refund policy.

Can I subscribe on the website?

No. Loopisy Premium is sold only through in-app purchase in the iOS and Android apps. This website provides support and legal information only.

How does auto-renewal work?

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period (monthly or yearly) unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage in your store subscription settings. Taxes may apply; refunds follow Apple's or Google's policies — see Terms.

Spaces, collaboration & invites

How do I invite someone to my space?

Space Manager → open your space → edit (details & members) → add member email under Members. We store the invited email even before they register. On the free plan you may invite 1 non-admin member per Space; Premium allows unlimited invites. They receive an in-app invitation — Loopisy does not send invitation emails. Accept at AccountInvitations. Once they join, they can view and edit all content in that Space.

Is my Space content public?

No. Space content is private to members only. Loopisy does not offer public or unlisted share links. Only people you invite (and who accept) can access a Space.

How do Space notifications work?

In group Spaces, when another member changes shared content, you may receive a push notification if notifications are enabled. Individual Spaces do not send member-activity notifications to others. Event reminders also use push notifications when configured. Manage preferences in AccountPreferences Notifications, and in your device OS settings.

Can I share Space content outside the app?

No. Loopisy does not provide a native share sheet to publish Space content to other apps or public links. Only Space members can access content inside the app.

How do meal plans and recipes work?

Create meal plans and recipes inside a Space. You can generate a shopping list from a meal plan using built-in rules (for example aggregating ingredients) — this is not powered by artificial intelligence.

How do I remove a member or delete a Space?

As Space Admin, open the space settings (details & members) to remove members or delete the entire Space. Deleting a Space permanently removes its content for all members.

Where do I see invitations I received?

AccountInvitations Received.

How do I switch spaces?

From Space Manager, tap the space you want. The dashboard and features reflect the active space.

My data isn't syncing / I see an offline message.

Loopisy works offline with cached data (including a local Firestore cache on your device). Check your internet connection. When back online, changes sync automatically. Preferences and drafts may also be stored in encrypted local storage on your device. If problems persist, force-quit and reopen the app, then email support.

Does Loopisy use analytics or tracking SDKs?

We do not integrate separate third-party analytics products (such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or the Firebase Analytics SDK package). See our Privacy Policy for details on data we do collect.

Do you show ads?

The free plan shows banner ads on most screens (Google AdMob). Ads are hidden on sign-in, paywall, and onboarding screens. Premium removes ads. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, ad consent is managed through Google's User Messaging Platform; you can change choices in the app under AccountAd privacy choices. Privacy & legal

Where are the Terms and Privacy Policy shown?

The full legal text lives on this website only. The app links to loopisy.com/privacy and loopisy.com/terms (for example during onboarding or from settings) — there is no separate copy bundled inside the app.

What URLs should I use in App Store and Google Play?

Enter these URLs in App Store Connect and Google Play Console. The app should link to the same addresses:

Does Loopisy use personalized ads or Apple tracking (ATT)?

No. Free users see non-personalized AdMob banner ads. Loopisy does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt or IDFA for advertising. Ad consent in the EEA/UK/CH is handled through Google UMP and in-app Ad privacy choices. See Ad choices.

Who is the legal operator of Loopisy?

Loopisy is the app name. The legal operator and data controller is Vasilache Viorel Catalin, sole proprietor (Romania). The app is published on the stores under the developer name Vasilache Viorel Catalin, not a separate company.

How do I exercise my privacy rights (GDPR / CCPA)?

Email support@loopisy.com from your Loopisy account email with your request (access, delete, correct, portability, restrict processing, or opt out of ad sharing). We respond within 30 days. EU/UK users may also complain to their supervisory authority. See our Privacy Policy (Section 8).

For data deletion, use Delete Account in the app (see Account & sign-in above) — note that shared Space content may persist; a Space Admin can delete an entire Space to remove all its data. For privacy questions, erasure requests, or GDPR/CCPA rights, email support@loopisy.com.

Troubleshooting

The app crashes or misbehaves.

Update to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. Restart your device. If it continues, email support with device model, OS version, and what you were doing.

Push notifications don't work.

AccountPreferences Notifications → enable. If previously denied, your device may require enabling notifications for Loopisy in system settings (Settings → Notifications on iOS, or the equivalent on Android).

Sign in with Apple / Google fails.

Check network connection. For Apple, ensure you're signed into iCloud on the device. Try again or use email sign-in. Contact support if the issue persists.
